My one and only trip to Iceland was with my daughter on our way over to London, UK. Our trip was 2 days long and we just happened to go at the worst time of year. In April, the Northern Lights have just ended for the season, but the summer wildlife has not yet come out. We rented a car and drove for 12 hours straight to see as much as possible It's somewhere I would love to go back to in January or February to finally see the Northern Lights and spend a bit more time there.
